Private Aviation
Purchasing and customizing private aircraft is an incredibly complex process. Identifying the specific need upfront is critical.
For instance:
- How many passengers are regularly carried versus a once-a-year trip?
- How many long-distance or international trips will it take each year?
- What are your most-visited destinations, and what facilities do those airports have?
Often a smaller or medium-sized jet or a luxury helicopter coupled with heavy jet/ULR leasing for international trips is far more cost-effective, luxurious, and convenient, giving you access to more airports, but few brokers will tell you that.
Custom fit out in private aviation can take many months and often has to be planned years prior to delivery, and requires the coordination of many different entities. Remodeling and updating existing aircraft can be equally complex. Unlike a home, the intricacies of aircraft have specific requirements and restrictions. Prior knowledge and experience is critical to a successful renovation.
